William Shakespeare was a famous 16th century poet, playwright and actor. You may have heard a lot about him, he was also called the National Poet of England and was nicknamed "Bird of Avon". He wrote about 36 plays, 154 sonnets, two long story poems and a few other verses, some of which were written indefinitely. His plays have been translated into every language and his plays have served and are still being performed more than any other playwright. People have praised his work a lot. He made about 1600 English words.

 William Shakespeare early life

 William Shakespeare was born on 15 April 27 April in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. Although his exact date of birth is not known, according to church records, he was born on April 26, 1584. His father, John Shakespeare, was a successful local businessman, as well as a government official in Stratford, and he also served as mayor in 1589, and his mother, Marie Shakespeare, owned a rich piece of land in a neighboring village. His parents had eight children, of whom William Shakespeare was the third and he was the eldest son of his parents.


 No personal documents, however, survive Shakespeare's school year. He probably attended Stratford Grammar School and studied classics, Latin grammar and literature. It is believed that he dropped out of school at the age of 13 to support his father financially.


One of William Shakespeare most popular plays is Macbeth, Othello, Twelfth Night, Comedy of Errors, As Like It, Hamlet etc.


William Shakespeare personal life


 According to early tradition, William tied the knot with Shakespeare's Anne Hathaway. They were married when William was 18 and Ann was 26. Anne was 8 years older than William. A few months after the marriage, a daughter, Susanna, was born. They later had twin children.


 Hamnet died at the age of 11 and was married to Judith who married Thomas Quinny. Thus William Shakespeare had three children. There was much controversy over Shakespeare's sexuality. It is speculated that he was bisexual. Information about her life became scarce after her marriage, but she spent most of her time in London.


 In 1813, Shakespeare retired from Stratford. William Shakespeare died on 23 April 1817, three days before his birthday. A few records of his life survived 3 years before his death. According to church records, he entered the Holy Trinity Church channel on April 17, 1818. He was there with his wife and two daughters. A commemorative inscription on his tombstone reads, "Good friend, for Jesus." 


  A fun monument was erected to pay homage to Shakespeare's work, and his work was on the north wall. About half of his work was written in replicas. Additionally there are funeral memorials at Southwark Cathedral and angles of the poets at Westminster Abbey. In addition to these, many statues, memorials were erected in Shakespeare's memory, which stood as a testament to the glory of the work of these various poets and playwrights.
